Top Ten Influential Gentlemen of 2016

This past Sunday I made my way to the famous Johannesburg spa, The Pyramid Day Spa for what was said to be the ultimate celebration for men. The beautiful spa provided a beautiful background and thank goodness the weather played along.

The aim of this celebration is to honour and celebrate the modern gentleman that has demonstrated highly notable attributes, achievements and inspirational qualities in our society. With Cruz Vodka and Healthy Quench Water keeping us hydrated, it was set to be an eventful afternoon with gentleman of calibre.

This concept was created by Good Chuckle Originals; I am really pleased to see an event that celebrates men in a world where women are celebrated daily. The initiative encourages and uplifts those that put their best foot best regardless of which industry they belong in. With that in mind media was invited to witness these gentlemen being pampered and for once being put in the spot light. Each gentleman was given a platform to tell us why they are influential and we got to understand the gist of this occasion. Really cool seeing them relaxed and enjoying all the attention.

The following gentlemen were chosen for 2016:

  • Kutlwano Ditsele (Producer and casting director at Bomb Productions)
  • George Matsheke (Creative Director at Seanokeng Media and Advertising)
  • Andrew Mojalefa Tlagadi (Medical Scientist at Aurum Institute for Health Research)
  • Sipho Masebe (Businessmen, Actor, Entertainer, Musician and FTV Brand Ambassador)
  • Gino Brown (DJ, Producer, Songwriter and Businessman)
  • Ngugi Vere (Creative Director and producer of Soweto Fashion Week)
  • Ntando Mpendulo Mjiako (Acting COO Healthy Quench)
  • France Mpho Matlala (Senior Manager: Credit Card Legal Recoveries in one of the Major Banks in South Africa)
  • Nicholas Mboweni a.k.a Cuebur (DJ and Producer)
  • Dennis Chuene (Fashion Designer)

Really enjoyed myself and hope to see this initiative grow in the near future. Thanks to GCO for the invite and hospitality.
