This past Thursday night was Date Night at The Rosebank Cinema’s. Date night was proudly hosted by Blaque magazine & Oude Meester and it is an initiative to get couples to go out often because studies show that couples do not go out for movies as much as they should be. I must say this makes so much sense as couples do not actually spend that much time together.
Refreshments and finger-food were served, before the movie began. I really enjoyed the food I must say, made the waiting bearable… As the movie started later than the scheduled time.
It was starring the famous well talented Idris Alba & Taraji P Henson. The movie was called No Good Deed
Synopsis: A lonely mother, Terry Granger (Taraji P Henson) , invites a car accident victim, Colin Evans (Idris Elba) into her home. Desperate for a little attention, she doesn’t realize she’s entertaining a sociopathic, yet charming escape convict. In one terrorizing night her life completely changes as she fight for her own life and the life of her children in No Good Deed.
I am still not sure if it was a horror movie or semi-horror because there were a lot of scary violent scenes and the movie set up was through out a dark ans stormy night.
I enjoyed the movie and can advise friends and couples to go and check it out.
But was really hoping Mr Idris Elba would have stayed longer in South Africa to appear at the premiere, but oh well…
Thanks to Blaque Magazine for the invite once again
