Poof! Pow! Be gone!

Itchy scalp, dandruff and bad weaves are a thing of the past.

This past weekend Africa International Hair Extravaganza launched with some great tips for all hair types and hair issues. The show included everything to do with hair from different salon’s spring/summer collection, new product demos to hairstyle battles.

I almost didn’t go due to the cold front that hit South Africa sometime in the week leaving us covered in snow for the first time in many years.

Farah Fortune (event Publicist) of African Star told me that on Saturday the venue was even more packed with a whole lot more celebs.

The MC’s were Zizo Beda and Amstel who both did an amazing job.

The show got off to a late start but once the kiddies hit the stage to showcase the Spring/Summer collection all was forgotten as the little gals swayed their hips from side to side, so cute and humorous to watch*

Some dancing was due when the 012’s took to the stage, really nice moves guys.

Then came the battle of the stylists in; The relax, cut and style division. Some of the hair do’s though, nothing to write home about. *Check them out*

Next was the battle of the stylists in; The dreadlocks technique and style division. It made me want to convert my natural afrocentric hair to dreadlocks* hmmm thinking *

Overall a really great show, the food was also lovely, was treated some hearty and warm meal just what I needed.  Not forgetting the awesomely put together Goodie Bag which included some hair supplies from Sofn Free, Perfect choice, Black Like me and some samples from Long Lasting Hair Care brand and Style&Image. We were also treated to some Candy from Kandi Hair brands, baby girl munched those and kept asking for more, guess they were that good.

See you there next year!! @LadyKrBeee
