[CONFIRMED] The Red Hot Chili Peppers are heading to South Africa!!

Big Concerts have done it again!!

Big Concerts today confirmed that multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform live for the first time ever in South Africa. The tour is scheduled for Saturday 2nd February at the Soccer City Complex, FNB Stadium, Johannesburg and then Tuesday 5th February at Cape Town Stadium.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, which is singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, will perform live for the first time in South Africa. They will be supported by local zef rave group Die Antwoord.



The concert is presented by 5FM and M-Net, on the 02 February 2013 at the Soccer City Complex in Johannesburg and tickets go from R315 to R715 while the Cape Town leg will happen on the 05 February 2013 and tickets there go for R215 to R665.

Tickets will go on sale on the 29th of August 2012 for the Johannesburg show and on the 30th of August for the Cape Town show.
