Following huge success after launching the new programme line-up in April, SA’s biggest urban youth radio station 99.2 YFM, now announces their annual youth month celebration ‘KING OF THRONES’ taking place this week in Johannesburg.

Having officially kicked off its youth month festivities on radio earlier at the beginning of the month, the station now brings the music LIVE to the people with a huge youth event featuring the top of the crop in the music industry right now.

Concluding the celebrations for the month, YFM decided to close it off with a bang. Taking place at The Blue Room (Old Park Station) in downtown Jozi this Friday from 8:30pm, YFM is taking it back to the streets, delivering it directly to the people.

This year marks the 6th Annual Youth Day event, with a production designed to create a spectular gathering of SA’s most current and favourite artists. With one of SA’s most revered producers, Somizi  Mhlongo in the forefront of the team, the night promises to be nothing short of ‘breathtaking’ .

With a platinum line-up of S.A’s current hottest artists including SAMA winner AKA and fellow rapper Khuli Chana, lady of the moment Toya Delazy, SA’s much raved out latest breakthrough Afro outfit The Muffinz, multiple award winner DJ Cleo and his Teddybears, the ever popular Teargas and their Cashtime family.

And for the first time, as promised when launching the new musical format earlier this year, YFM presents  the YTKO DJ’s LIVE.  With the dynamic underground team comprised of Ms Cosmo, Shimza, Just Mo, Josi Chave and Zan-D, they will represent alongside Durban’s finest DJ Tira on the decks.
