Not a Nicki Minaj fan but she went in on the just released “Beez In The Trap” visual…
Visually, it is BANANA’s!!! Very sexual (for me) but pretty aesthetically. The First Barbie dropped her Benny Boom-directed visual off of her “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” album, ‘Beez In The Trap’ featuring new-comer, rapper, 2 Chainz.
“B**ches aint sh*t…and they aint saying nothing.A hundred muthaf**kas can’t tell me nothing,”.
And since it’s the Jewish/Hebrew holiday, Passover, “Mazel Tov”.
What better way to celebrate this holiday than drop two visuals with one showing Drake getting re-Bar Mitzvah’d as a re-commitment to the Jewish religion. The clip opens with footage of a very young Aubrey “Drake” Graham at a friend or relative’s Bar Mitzvah years ago. Little Drake says “mazel tov” to camera. The video cuts to white lettering over a black background.
“On October 24th 2011 Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham chose to get re-Bar Mitzvah’d as a re-commitment to the Jewish religion.
Then the madness ensues.
With his YMCMB crew, Drake celebrates getting re-bar mitzvah’d in the ‘HYFR’ optic. It’s a visual interpretation of his second bar mitzvah, which opens with exclusive footage from Drake’s childhood where he does a cute lil dance.
Lil Wayne, Birdman and DJ Khaled sit in the pews of the Synagogue while Trey Songz guzzles down a bottle of Patron after lighting ceremonial candles.
This one may offend some fans & folks, particularly those of the Jewish/Hebrew faith. Just sayin’.
With Rihanna wrapped in his arms once again, Drake drops his highly anticipated video for ‘Take Care’…
The Yoann Lemoine-directed black & white visual is very intimate, crisp and minimal.
“Take Care” is laden with underlying tension; shots of birds taking flight, charging bulls, the gradual crumbling of icons, the shower of arrows and even the highly sensual but tender embrace that Drake and Rihanna share.
Full of bold imagery but teeming with sense of regret and doubt, it’s almost like a therapy session where Drake reveals his inner feelings while Rihanna listens and reacts to his emotions.
Simple but nice.
