Never have I been interested in soccer scores but this one definitely is worth writing about, Powerlines Football Club which hails from Kimberley was beaten 24 – 0 yesterday by Mamelodi Sundowns better known as the Brazilians.

I really do hope that Patrice Motsepe, will throw a big party for his boys (he owns the Mamelodi Sundowns team) after they set a new record of scoring 24 goals in a match.  Or better yet reward them with some bonuses for embarrassing the Powerlines FC.

The Nedbank Cup give local football clubs the chance to shine, which is why we get exposed to upcoming football club as opposed to the usual Premier Soccer Leagues.

With a name such as Powerlines, one would think they are related to the infamous Eskom. Shame I feel sorry for them hey, like can you just imagine being beaten 24 times in public tjo. Look what Sundowns spokesperson said before the game and check the irony.

Sundowns spokesperson Alex Shakoane said they respected Powerline and that they were not expecting the Sunday game to be a “walk in the park” as reported by the NewAge.

Askies ne Powerlines…*lol*
