PRE-WEEKEND UPDATE: Nonhle Thema launches IVY, Minnie and Sizwe Dlomo leaving Live & more!!

Been a crazy week, hoping that it has been productive though!!

Sadly I missed Miss Nonhles launch as a result of my sickness, but don’t despair as I managed to get some pictures from the event thanks to Twitter. Sounds like all the Nonhle angels came out in numbers to celebrate with her, as she launches her perfume IVY (named after her grandmother).

So it was reported that Minnie Dlamini from the popular show Live and recently The Wild, is leaving Live come next year January. Her fans are still shocked at the fact that she is leaving. I personally think that it will be a good career move for her, and I must say her acting is not bad at all. Wishing her all the best in her new ventures and hope she shines in her own right.

With Sizwe Dlomo (who still works for MTV) also on the way out, seems like Your Gal B (Bonang Matheba) will be the only one left standing. After a few weeks ago posting on Twitter that he will be leaving Live, looks like he was preparing his fans for reality. Live is set for some major changes in the coming year and with two presenters leaving it leaves us waiting patiently to see the changes.

Question is who is going to co-host with Bonang or will she run the show all by herself? After all girls run the world?

In other news, Penny Lebyane has been in the news and dubbed as a bad presenter after interviewing Mshoza on her show Motswako on SABC 2. She was judgemental from the start till the end, as she was interviewing Mshoza regarding her skin lightening process. One could see where she stood regarding the matter of skin lightening. When people on Twitter expressed themselves she went on a war path with people as they did not agree with their views.

It is a busy weekend here in South Africa with Drake and Lil Wayne performing. All in can say is LEGGO!!

*Cues cheers to the freaken weekend*
