Diamond in the Ruff, an exciting new reality TV model search that will be broadcast on DStv’s Mzansi Magic.

Diamond in the Ruff will recruit model candidates from 8 different South African cities and town.  The show’s objective is to turn ‘the girl next door’ into a top model – and in recognition of South African standards of beauty, will be incorporating both plus size  as well as slim candidates in the programme.

The recruiting team is looking for women age 18-25, legally resident in South Africa or South African residents– and will be recruiting on the following dates:

  • Bloemfonten – Friday, 30 September – Mangaung Metro Municipality – Braam Fischer Building, Rose Hall – Nelson Mandela Drive and cnr Maarkgraat Str
  • Kroonstad – Saturday, 1 October – Flavius Mareka FET College, Kroonstad Campus – Beukes Str
  • Durban– Wednesday, 5 October – City Lodge Durban – cnr Silvester Ntuli (Brickhill Road) and K.E. Masinga (Old
    Fort road), Durban
  • Kimberley– Saturday, 8 October – The Big Hole Museum Boardroom, Tucker Street
  • Cape Town, Wednesday 12th October – 5 Welgemeend St, Gardens
  • Musina – Saturday, 15 October, Musina City Hall, Patharrison Street
  • Polokwane – Sunday, 16th October – Zanami Lodge- 44 Plein St
  • Johannesburg – Tuesday 18th October – The Shine Studios, 115 Smit street, cnr Henri, Braamfontein
