SPORTS: Bafana vs Burkina Faso (Friendly) tickets on sale + SAFA announce new CEO!!!

Tickets for the friendly international match between Bafana Bafana and Burkina Faso are now on sale.

Tickets are sold at fifty rand (R50) for the upper tier stands and one hundred rand (R100) for the lower tier stands and will be available at all Computicket outlets, Shoprite and Shoprite/Checkers stores around the country.

Bafana will face Burkina Faso on Wednesday, 10 August at the Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg.

Kickoff is at 20h15.

Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane will announce his squad next week Tuesday.

Burkina Faso is expected in South Africa on Monday, 8 August.

In other news:

South Africa dropped two places to 49th in the latest Fifa World Rankings released on Monday.

Bafana Bafana, who are unbeaten in four matches this year, last faced Egypt in Cairo in June when they played to a goalless draw.

Their next fixture is a friendly international against Burkina Faso in Johannesburg on August 10.

The highest-ranked African nation is still Ivory Coast, at No 14.

Ghana continued their fall down the rankings, dropping a further 3 spots to 36th after their 18-spot dive the previous month, which means that Egypt is now No 2 on the continent.
