Hiya guys & dolls,

How super cute is this…..

Did not know what planking was nor have I engaged in such. Though, when I saw the picture of the baby above, planking, I thought, I just can’t let a baby girl beat me to it. It aint right….so I may be planking….(don’t hold your breath for it anytime soon, hahaha!)

Anyway, according to Wikipedia:

Planking or the lying down game is an activity consisting of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location. The hands must touch the sides of the body and having a photograph of the participant taken and posted on the internet is an integral part of the game. Players compete to find the most unusual and original location in which to play. The term planking is described as the practice of lying down flat with arms to the side, to mimic a wooden plank.

The lying down game is claimed to have been invented by Gary Clarkson and Christian Langdon in 1997, first becoming popular in North East England. However, comedian Tom Green claims to have invented “planking” as early as 1994

Of course these guys never fail me:

Please be careful when #PLANKING!

This looks dangerous to me when done by adults. Babies, on the other hand were born planking all the way.
