BEHIND-THE-SCENES: “Watch The Throne” ft Jay Z & Kanye West! [VIDEO]

Happy Thank God Its Friday!

Trying to break my heart and step on it.

I picked up the pieces before you swept on it.

G*dd*am this sh*t leaves a mess, don’t it.

Feeling like xxx, don’t it.

Charge it to the game, whatever it left on it.

I spent about a minute, maybe less on it.

Fly pelican fly. Turn the jets on it.

For the trillionth time/like tourettes on it

Wasn’t I good king?

– Jay Z

I read Decoded by Jay Z one Sunday afternoon earlier this year and I was thoroughly inspired by the man behind the music. Jay Z‘s approach to music, rap is unparalleled. Like I am a Biggie fan forever [despite some of his lyrics being alot on the dark-side *sad face*]. Period. Jay Z comes close….now. Kanye West is equally out there with his.

I made Jesus Walks, so never going to hell

Couture level flow is never going on sale

Luxury rap, the Hermes of verses

Sophisticated ignorance, write my curses in cursive

I get it custom, you a customer

You ain’t accustomed to going through customs, you ain’t been nowhere, hah?

And all the ladies in the house got them showing off

I’m done I’ll hit you up manyana!

– Kanye West “Otis”

Jay & ‘Ye dropped their super hot joint “Otis” earlier this week as a fore-taste of their upcoming highly anticipated album, “Watch The Throne” which drops August 1st! [hip hop fans engrave that on your calendars, it’s that real!]

Today, newly released mini-documentary showing the behind-the-scenes creative process that the two artists undergo for their highly anticipated forthcoming joint album, ‘Watch The Throne.’ Mostly shot in Australia, actor, Russell Crowe makes a cameo appearance during one of the “rap sessions” and of course, Beyonce appears on there too….
