Happy Thursday y’all!

How y’all doing this Thursday! Hope y’all are alright. So the hardest working woman in the music bizz is back with a bang! Beyonce, who premiered the music video for her hit song, “Run The World (Girls)”. I just loved the PANTSULA choreography in that video!  Don’t sleep on South African dancers y’all! Heck, on African dancers!

And on the heels of the premiere of her “Run The World (Girls)” music video, Beyonce‘s album cover and release date for her fourth solo studio album, “4,” were revealed.

Beyonce named her album “4,”  because her birth date (September 4, 1981), her husband, Sean “Jay-Z” Carter‘s birth date (December 4, 1969), the couple’s wedding date (April 4, 2008) all took place on the 4th and this is her 4th solo album.

Columbia Records will release “4,” the fourth solo studio album from Beyoncé on Tuesday, June, 28, 2011. Her début solo album, “Dangerously in Love” came out on June 2003. Her second studio album “B’Day” was released in the United States on September 5, 2006, and her third studio album, “I Am… Sasha Fierce” dropped on November 18, 2008.

Her record label Columbia reports:

Her album “4,” was recorded over a year between the spring of 2009 and the spring of 2010, while Beyoncé took time away from the spotlight. She engaged in what she describes as simple things, including listening to every kind of music she truly enjoys. Her mixed musical gumbo will be displayed on the upcoming album. The title signifies not only the artist’s fourth solo offering and the day of her birth but it is also a personal gift to her fans. For over one year now her fans around the world took to their social media pages urging her to name the album for her special number.

The intensely anticipated video for the album’s lead single, “Run The World (Girls),” made its premiere on American Idol (last night). Filmed in Los Angeles and the Mojave Desert over three days in April, the Francis Lawrence-directed video boasts a cast of over 200 dancers, a menagerie of exotic animals and Beyoncé as the leader of a stunning army of women.
