Happy Friday errrbody!!!

I don’t know about the rest of the world *side-eyes* Farai, but the South African entertainment scene has been buzzing this week. In particular I was entertained by RWTR, after episode 4 I’m convinced these boys know what they are doing. Watch their reality show on Vuzu.

In radio, MetroFM spiced things up for their listeners with their “celebrity take over”, where SA celebs (who have no experience in radio) took to the airwaves to entertain us…and boy was I entertained (and annoyed at some point). I though the “Juju drive” hosted by Minnie Dlamini and ANC Youth League President Julius Malema was HILARIOUS! Khanyi Mbau and funnyman David Kau were okay, Kau’s voice was a tad too irritating for my liking.

Still in radio, it’s that time of the year where SA radio stations switch things up and around. Some have been fired, hired and some upgraded to better slots while some weren’t as lucky. Radio2000 has awesome changes (don’t have the whole list but the line-up is good).

YFM is also shaking things up but all will be revealed next week 😉 (trust me it’s exciting, quite refreshing).

And finally what caught my eye on TV was this week’s 3rd Degree show with host Deborah Patta. I could not believe my eyes and ears! The things that came out of Steve Hofmeyers mouth were shocking and shamed the nation. I still gasp at the thought that we have South African’s who still think and view “our” South Africa like that. I thought we were passed the racism issues but clearly some people just want to stick out like sore thumbs, hence they say such!

Anyway,  enough about Hofmeyer. On SABC 3, The Oprah show got everyone talking. This was the episode where Oprah interview Tyler Perry. Tyler talked about his rough and sad past (I was left in tears). But not everyone seemed to believe his story; people took to twitter to tweet about how they think celebrities misuse the media to get the public’s sympathy and attention. Personally, I don’t think he would lie about his life to that extent.

Music wise, Breezy is smiling all the way to the bank. His F.A.M.E album landed on the number 1 spot on Billboard and Jennifer Hudson got the second spot respectively for her latest offering “I remember me”.

Wayne/Weezy/Litunechi (which ever you prefer) is back at it with “6 foot 7 foot” (absolutely love the video)

I still can’t believe that the SAMA’s will indeed be held in Johannesburg, Monte Casino and not Sun City *shrugs*

I’ll pass on sports this time, was a bit depressing for my liking, lol.

Have an awesome and safe weekend, xoxo
