THE REAL GOBOZA IS BACK…WITHOUT THE BANG!

South African entertainment show Real Goboza (think gossip/paparazzi show) is back on SABC 1 but this time without the BANG! The entertainment show has made a return with two new presenters Brenda Ngxoli and Phat Joe (not the rapper Phat Joe…the South African “radio” Phat Joe).

Now I’m not one to hate but truth be told! This new “The Real Goboza Reloaded” is nothing like what it used to be. I honestly think it’s a total downgrade from what used to be a very exciting, entertaining and hilarious show. (And keep in mind that this is the very same show that Miss Khanyi Mbau denied rumors that she was dating Chris Brown soon after his visit to South Africa…and yes! She was telling the truth, they NEVER dated). The Real Goboza brought us the latest entertainment news on the who’s who of the entertainment business. From the “who dated who”, to the “what went wrong with them”.

The Real Goboza was the talk of town when Trevor Noah and Dineo Ranaka hosted the show (I still remember the feature “TV with Lelo” by Lelo Boyana, lol) and an even bigger hit (I think) when Khuli Roberts and Siyabonga Ngwekazi stepped in).

I’m not sure what Brenda and Phat Joe plan on bringing to the show but by the looks of the first show that aired last week, it’s going to be a bit of a bore (just saying). Brenda is an actress, a very good one in fact (as seen on the award winning drama Home Affairs) but when it comes to presenting an entertainment show, I don’t think she’s as funny as she thinks she is. As for her partner in crime Phat Joe, he may pull it off but only for a while (as far as I’m concerned).

    Brenda doesn’t fit at all, YES she’s 1 of the best actresses in Mzansi, as for presenting a show like RGB, she doesn’t cut it at all, it was the biggest mistake. TOO OLD FASIONED & she’s supposed to talk about people like Khanyi Mbau etc…

    Just as I thought, Brenda’s days are numbered on RGB It was a huge mistake in the first place, thanks producers I’ll start watching RGB like before, she was so so boring … Let’s welcome Somizi, the show’s gonna be a blast,,
